Group and Private Walks
Fancy seeing the true Wales and the secrets of the Brecon Beacons? If so we are pleased to offer our guests with a unique experience. We are proud to have teamed up with Ammanford Walking Group, they invite keen walkers and guests of Nant Melyn to join them for FREE Every Sunday to treck the countryside and mountains of the Brecon Beacons.
*Please be advised this is no small stroll, the group cover a minimum of 10 miles on their walks, and require everyone that joins them to have the correct walking boots and clothing.
The walking group are looking forward to meeting you;
Wynn is the walk leader, he may also be able to provide smaller private walks throughout the week if guests prefer. More information about these walks can be found in the cottage, or if you would like more information in the meantime, then please contact us via our website @contact us

The Amman Valley
Amman Valley Trotting Club
A harness racing track established back in 1979. One of the premier trotting race tracks in the UK.
Garnant Park Golf club
18 holes and created as a championship golf facility. Wales' best kept golfing secret!… and boasting USGA spec greens and tees.
Ammanford Town
At the bottom of the valley you will find Ammanford town. The town supports the valley through its day to day living, and here you will find a small amount of high street shops, along with arts & crafts and small coffee shops.
