The Cottage
We are a small 160 year old welsh cottage located in the centre of the village of Brynamman, within walking distance to many local amenities including local shop, the Black Mountain tourist centre, idyllic cinema, public houses, and to the Amman valley cycle path. Located at the very top of the Amman valley, and on the very edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. The cottage itself is one of the very first dwellings of the village which dates back to 1851.
The cottage has two bedrooms. The largest of the two rooms has a double bed with seating area, chest of drawers, and an area to hang clothes.
The second bedroom has two single beds and a small area for hanging clothes.*
Both bedrooms are cosy with modern fixtures and fittings.

Kitchen and Bathroom
The modern kitchen is located at the rear of the cottage directly off the main reception room. You will find an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster and microwave.
The modern upstairs bathroom has a large double shower, separate large bath, wash basin and WC.
Upon entering the cottage you are greeted by the main reception room, to the left is the living area with comfortable furnishings, and is dominated by the stone fireplace with log burner.
To the right is the dining area with large wooden table seating four. Here you will also find our Information bureau filled with local maps and attraction leaflets.
Located at the end of a private lane and adjoining traditional stone cottages, set off the beaten track, with the Brecon Beacons and the centre of the village just a short stroll away.
Bedrooms
Garden
Large garden which can be accessed from the side of the cottage or through the kitchen. The garden has the added benefit of sun throughout the day in the summer months, so why not dine alfresco on the terrace.
The garden also has the benefit of an outhouse which is ideal for storing bicycles, and an outside tap for dirty walking boots or muddy bikes. It is also home to the tumble dryer.
