To The Beach

We have world class beaches in South Wales. A visit to the seaside whilst on holiday is always a must and a treat. From the cottage you can visit beaches in the Gower & Pembrokeshire National Park. Here are our favourites!
Pembrey
One of the nearest beaches is Pembrey, A country park that includes 8 miles of golden sandy beaches, 550 acres of idyllic woodland, the longest toboggan run in Wales, a dry ski slope, adventure playground, cycle hire, horse riding, crazy golf and a cafe/bar. The perfect place to take a picnic and spend the day.

The Gower
Rhossili
For a stunning hilltop walk with views out to sea and across a world award winning 3 mile sandy beach, then head to Rhossili bay/beach. Here you will find a National Trust shop along with a small pub and restaurant with magnificent views of the golden beach below.
Oxwich Bay
Oxwich Bay stretches 2.5 miles of golden sandy beach, with sand dunes, salt march and woodland. Very popular with swimmers and watersports you will find a car park, toilets, shops and places to eat and drink.

Three Cliffs Bay
For a truely wild experience, visit Three Cliffs Bay. This is one of the most spectacular shorelines in the Gower, and offers a much more private experience, due to its slightly difficult walk and the car park approximately 400m away.

Pembrokeshire Coast
National Park
Amroth Beach

Tenby Beach

Barafundle Bay

Funfair, sand & candyfloss
For a traditional seaside family day out that includes a lovely beach, fairground rides, amusements, slot machines, candy floss, toffee apples and donkey rides along the beach, then head to Porthcawl.
